This one is not really a toy on its own. It is Queensland grown Rhodes grass that can be stuffed into baskets, forage boxes and other toys to give Budgies something extra to pick through.
The small grass seeds left through the heads make it particularly interesting for little birds. A bag can also be spread across several toys rather than being used all at once.

How Many Toys Does a Budgie Need?
There is no magic number. It depends on the size of the cage, how many Budgies live in it and how much room they have to move around.
A good starting point is a small mix of different things to do rather than filling every spare section of the cage. That might mean something to shred, something to chew, something to forage through and a swing or other place to climb and perch.
Rotation matters too. Instead of leaving the same toys in the cage for months, swap a few around regularly. A toy that was ignored the first time may suddenly become interesting when it comes back a few weeks later.
The main thing is variety. Budgies do not need ten versions of the same toy. Give them different materials, textures and ways to play, then pay attention to what your particular bird keeps going back to.
