Natural materials are where our interest in enrichment started, and they are still what we reach for first. Birds respond differently to real wood, palm, seed pod and bark than they do to plastic.

This collection covers toys built from raw materials with minimal processing, including eucalyptus, banksia, palm leaf, coconut, sola, bamboo and untreated hardwood. Nature Island, Beak Joy, Love 4 Birds, Birdnerd and Raw for Birds supply most of the range. Many are Australian made from Australian species, which is worth something if you keep native birds.
