  • Ingredients
    Freeze dried blend (sweet potato, sweet corn, peas, blueberries, apples, raspberries, cranberries, broccoli). Formula may vary due to seasonal availability.
  • Freeze Dried Storage
    Do not refrigerate or freeze. Store in a cool dark place.

    If you leave the packet open and exposed to air, it will spoil.

    We recommend using it within one month of opening.

    Keep oxygen absorber away from your bird and children.
  • Food Safety
    Freeze-dried food is not exempt from food hygiene standards.

    Always handle with clean hands and prepare on clean surfaces.

    Treat it just like fresh food, although no washing is required.

    The feeder is responsible for maintaining food hygiene.

    Not intended for human consumption.
  • How to use
    Offer your bird fresh food daily, including a nutritious fruit blend. You can add this blend to your seed mixes or use it as part of their foraging routine to provide dietary variety.

The Whistler Small Parrots Freeze Dried Fruit and Vegetable is a big hit with my conures especially the cranberries and apple pieces. I mix it in with their morning chop to soak up the moisture as I freeze and thaw their chop and it gets a little mushy. I pick most of the fruit out and put it in their foraging toys (dry of course). Some of the pieces are a little large but easily broken up into smaller bits for little beaks. Over all great variety and a welcome convenience for me.

Toy Safety

  • No toy is 100% safe; toys should be inspected daily for damaged or broken parts. Damaged or broken toys should be removed immediately. All products should be offered under strict supervision.
  • We strongly recommend reading all of the product descriptions to ensure it is suitable for the size/type of your bird.
  • We do not sell - Cotton or fabric rope/huts.
  • We do sell - Jute, Seagrass, Sisal, “Tangle Free” Plastic Rope, Stainless Steel Chain and Nickel Plated chain. If you notice your bird excessively chewing or swallowing pieces, it should be removed immediately.

Bird Toys are not intended for children, and children should not have access to them.

Medications
