Our Freeze-dried Corn Slices are made in-house using locally sourced, human-grade ingredients, so you know precisely what your birds are eating. Great for camping or long trips away with your bird where fresh foods might not be available.

Studies have shown that freeze-dried foods often retain over 97% of the original fresh food’s nutrition, much more than other drying techniques (air-drying, heat-drying), which usually damage micronutrients. If properly stored, freeze-dried foods can last up to 25 years.

  • How much to feed
    It can be offered 2-3 times a week, considering your bird's daily needs. For small birds break into small pieces.
  • Freeze Dried Storage
    Do not refrigerate or freeze; store in an air-tight container.

    If you leave the packet open and exposed to air, it will spoil.

    Push as much air out of the bag as you can before resealing.

    We recommend using it within one month of opening.

    Keep oxygen absorber away from your bird and children.
  • Food Safety
    We only use human-grade ingredients.

    Freeze-dried food is not exempt from food hygiene standards.

    Always handle with clean hands and prepare on clean surfaces.

    Treat it just like fresh food, although no washing is required.

    The feeder is responsible for maintaining food hygiene.

    Our freeze-dried foods are not intended for human consumption.
  • How to use
    Dry - Offer 1-2 pieces every few days in a bowl or foraging toy.

    Rehydrate - Soak in warm water (not boiling) until soft to the touch, drain and cool, then serve.

Yes my birds liked them the only thing was that some of the corn had no corn on it only the white

Good item however it would be nice if there were more corn in the packet for the price, there are few food items and it doesn't last that long. Otherwise, the bird likes the corn.
