Aketi is an African-grey Parrot owned by staff member Timothy. Aketi loves to forage and work for his treats, and Timothy has kept this treat blend secret until now!

Includes whole-size sticks of Cinnamon as well as Star Anise and Almonds in the shell. See all the ingredients below.

  • Ingredients
    Organic Almonds, Organic Brazil Nuts, Organic Walnuts, Organic Cashews, Organic Pecans, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Apple, Organic Goji Berries, Organic Coconut, Organic Calendula, Organic Chilli, Organic Rolled Oats, Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Puffed Millet, Organic Puffed Buckwheat, Organic Star Anise, Organic Cinnamon, Blueberries and Almonds in the shell. Please note some ingredients are seasonal and may not be present.
  • How much to feed
    Enough to fill foraging toys. 2-3 times a week.
  • How to use
    Offer to your bird as is (1 tablespoon every 2-3 days) Shake the bag well first as some settling may occur.

    Mix into blad seed blends - 2 tablespoons per kilo.

    Use in foraging toys and trays.

    Sprinkle over fresh chop for extra crunch.

    Take note of your bird’s daily energy needs when feeding nuts. Birds that are not very active or have weight issues should be given nuts sparingly.

  • No toy is 100% safe; toys should be inspected daily for damaged or broken parts. Damaged or broken toys should be removed immediately. All products should be offered under strict supervision.
  • We strongly recommend reading all of the product descriptions to ensure it is suitable for the size/type of your bird.
  • We do not sell - Cotton or fabric rope/huts.
  • We do sell - Jute, Seagrass, Sisal, “Tangle Free” Plastic Rope, Stainless Steel Chain and Nickel Plated chain. If you notice your bird excessively chewing or swallowing pieces, it should be removed immediately.

Bird Toys are not intended for children, and children should not have access to them.
