Description
Calcivet has been formulated to supplement the diets of caged birds where levels may be low in calcium and vitamin D3. Water-soluble.
Supports breeding birds and young with essential calcium. It contains Vitamin D3 to maximise calcium absorption in the gut. Supports shell formation and the normal development of bones in young birds. Regular use in all seed-eating birds will ensure adequate calcium for strong bones, muscle formation and general well-being. It can also be used as an emergency oral calcium supplement for egg-bound or critically deficient birds.

Great product for female birds when laying eggs. It gives them a calcium boost in times of need.
My parrot just surprised me with an egg (DNA test said she was male). So I ordered Calcivet as a way to supplement her diet and ensure she had enough calcium to lay her eggs and decrease the risk of becoming egg bound. It is easy to measure and Jack seemed to like it. Would recommend this product.
