  • Ingredients
Processed cereals (wheat, barley, oats) soy & whey protein isolates, meat meal, vegetable oils, omega-3 & omega-6 fatty acids, lysine, methionine, taurine, carotenoids, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, K, biotin, choline, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, zinc, iron, manganese, copper, iodine, selenium, 1g/kg Actigen® dried yeast prebiotic.
  • How to use
Feed as a moist crumble, or mixed with finely diced vegetables, soaked seed or other moist foods. Prepare food fresh each day to avoid microbial contamination. Birds that consume live food may be enticed to eat Finch Soft Food by mixing in small insects with the prepared food (e.g. chopped mealworms, fly pupae or termites).

To feed as a moist crumble:

Mix 10g (1 scoop) of powder with approx. 3mL (½ tsp) of water.

Slowly add water to the powder while mixing with a fork to form a moist, crumbly mix.

To feed with soaked seed or vegetables:

Mix 10g (1 scoop) of powder with 20g (2 scoops) diced veg or soaked seed.

Other foods such as finely chopped greens, fruit, mashed hard-boiled egg or sprouted seed can be used, depending on bird preference. Add a little extra water to moisten the mix if necessary.

    Other Birds:
Finch Soft Food can also be used to boost the protein and nutrient levels in the diet of other breeding birds, including parrots, lorikeets & cockatoos. Feed as a moist crumble at the rate of 10-15g per day or as a veg mix at the rate of 20-30g per day.

Great product

The consistency is a fine dry mix that can be mixed with water and vegetables, my finches like it with vegetables.
