Clay Cal is a bentonite clay supplement that provides the natural benefits of geophagy, the instinctive behaviour where birds consume clay or soil for dietary support.

The formula combines bentonite clay and charcoal to help bind toxins and support digestion, with added calcium to assist with bone strength, feather development, muscle function and normal nervous system activity. This can be especially beneficial for birds on seed based diets, which are naturally lower in calcium.

For daily use, mix or sprinkle 1 teaspoon (5 ml) onto vegetables or fruit. Moist foods help the clay bind effectively and make it easier for birds to consume. Alternatively, sprinkle up to 2 teaspoons (10 ml) over pellets or seed. Suitable for all birds.

    Bentonite (montmorillonite clay), calcium carbonate, charcoal. Manufactured in a facility that packages products containing known priority allergens.
  • How to use
    As a daily supplement : mix or sprinkle 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Clay-Cal onto your bird’s favorite greens, vegetables and/or fruits. Moist food helps ensure the absorption of the clay and increases the benefits of cationic activity, while at the same ensuring the likelihood that the supplement will be consumed. Alternatively, you can sprinkle or mix up to 2 teaspoons (10 ml) with extruded pellets or seeds.

Toy Safety

  • No toy is 100% safe; toys should be inspected daily for damaged or broken parts. Damaged or broken toys should be removed immediately. All products should be offered under strict supervision.
