      Whole grains (wheat, corn & soybean), L-tryptophan 0.5%, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, C, D3, E, H & K, choline) & minerals (calcium, cobalt, copper, iron, iodine, manganese & zinc), amino acids, vegetable oils and organic acids, turmeric and blueberry flavour.
    • How much to feed
      Parrot B-Calm is designed to be fed at a rate of 80% of your parrot’s total diet, with the remaining 20% to be primarily fresh fruit and vegetables to provide variety and enrichment. Freshwater must always be available.
    • Food Safety
      Symptoms of avian anxiety and stress may include changes in vocalisation, feather destructive behaviour, aggression, pacing, head swinging, shaking, decreased appetite and hiding. Time and care should be given to consider a bird’s environment and other potential stress/anxiety triggers that may require management in addition to feeding Parrot B-Calm. This food is not a miracle cure!
    • How to use
      Parrot B-Calm contains ingredients L-tryptophan, thiamine and turmeric.

      L-Tryptophan is a natural precursor for the synthesis of serotonin in the body. Serotonin is the key hormone that stabilizes mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness.

      Thiamine is an essential vitamin that is not synthesized in the body. Therefore, it must be absorbed from food sources. Thiamine plays a large part in the function of the nervous system, as well as in the metabolism of energy in the body.

      Turmeric contains curcumin, this is a plant-derived product that has anti-inflammatory properties as well as being a stimulator for the release of dopamine and serotonin–two hormones that stabilise mood. Curcumin also enhances the synthesis of DHA and Glutathione, which plays an important role in the health of the brain.

    Great to deal with. Fast postage and well packaged. The pellets seem to be working and the bird likes them. Time will tell if they calm the bird or not.
