  • How to use
    The Aviator Harness is a safe, lightweight harness that allows you to safely take your bird outside, without fear of them running away or getting hurt. This means your bird can go outside, exercise, and fly to its heart’s content. Start by acclimating your bird to its new harness. A harness is often a foreign concept to your bird, and it will take time for your bird to get used to it before they can go outside. Check out the Blog and YouTube channel for helpful training advice!
  • Sizing
    Weigh your bird to help decide the best size harness or use the guide below;

    Mini - <75g - Lovebirds, Budgies, Parrotlets.

    Petite - 75g-110g - Cockatiels, Green-cheek Conures, Kakariki.

    Xsmall - 110g-190g - Quakers, Senegal, Sun Conure, Nanday Conures, Indian-ringneck, Caiques, Rainbow Lorikeet, Eastern Rosella.

    Small - 190g-425g - Blue-fronted Amazon, Galah, Major Mitchell, Chattering Lory, Pionus, Gang Gang, Alexandrines, Hahns Macaw, Yellow-collard Macaw.

    Medium - 425g-600g - Eclectus, Congo Grey, Double Yellow-headed/Yellow-nape Amazon, Severe Macaw.

    Large - 600g-1kg - Blue and Gold Macaws, Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Black Cockatoos.

    Xlarge - 1kg-1.6kg - Green-wing Macaw, Hyacinth Macaw.

Excellent quality product. A little fiddly to fasten when on your bird but secure and comfortable once fastened.

Toy Safety

  • No toy is 100% safe; toys should be inspected daily for damaged or broken parts. Damaged or broken toys should be removed immediately. All products should be offered under strict supervision.
  • We strongly recommend reading all of the product descriptions to ensure it is suitable for the size/type of your bird.
  • We do not sell - Cotton or fabric rope/huts.
  • We do sell - Jute, Seagrass, Sisal, “Tangle Free” Plastic Rope, Stainless Steel Chain and Nickel Plated chain. If you notice your bird excessively chewing or swallowing pieces, it should be removed immediately.

Bird Toys are not intended for children, and children should not have access to them.

Allergens

  • If you have allergies, please ensure you read the ingredients list carefully to see if it is safe for you to use/handle. While due care is taken, some foods may contain traces of foods not listed.

Medications

  • Should be offered under recommendation from your vet or pet health care provider and used to manufacture recommendations. All medications should be stored out of reach of children and other pets.
