Birdcage for Parrotlet

Avi One 860 is a great cage for smaller birds. The door folds down and can be secured to make it a platform. It's light weight, solid and easy to put together.

Loads of height for long hanging items such as climbing frames. Easy to arrange perches or platforms to maximise and encourage flight.

Only minor issues are;
1. The height is too large for aesthetics and practicality. - All Avian vets have said wider cages are better than taller cages (especially for our little Parrotlet). However, the wider the cage the bigger it gets overall - would be great if the manufacturer could look into this.

2. The black plastic down the bottom comes up the sides too far. Our little girl likes to hold onto the cage wires to eat from her forage bowl but this makes it impossible. She's not a fan of hanging forage toys. We have placed a shelf in her cage but she won't go near it!

  • No toy is 100% safe; toys should be inspected daily for damaged or broken parts. Damaged or broken toys should be removed immediately. All products should be offered under strict supervision.
  • We strongly recommend reading all of the product descriptions to ensure it is suitable for the size/type of your bird.
  • We do not sell - Cotton or fabric rope/huts.
  • We do sell - Jute, Seagrass, Sisal, “Tangle Free” Plastic Rope, Stainless Steel Chain and Nickel Plated chain. If you notice your bird excessively chewing or swallowing pieces, it should be removed immediately.

Bird Toys are not intended for children, and children should not have access to them.

Allergens

  • If you have allergies, please ensure you read the ingredients list carefully to see if it is safe for you to use/handle. While due care is taken, some foods may contain traces of foods not listed.

Medications

  • Should be offered under recommendation from your vet or pet health care provider and used to manufacture recommendations. All medications should be stored out of reach of children and other pets.
